Community, volunteer opportunities, food desert & the future
Thanks to the Natrona residents who attended our September 20th community informational meeting at the Knights of Columbus Council 2602 hall. Our discussion was positive and productive.
A special thanks to the Knights of Columbus Council 2602 in Natrona for allowing us to use their building, to 412 Food Rescue for attending and sharing information about its program to reduce food waste, and to Natrona Comes Together for its support.
We discussed having our first produce distribution in October and letting residents know about future programs as they are schedule.
