Natrona Community Pantry

The Natrona Community Pantry is a free food source for residents that is located within Natrona Community Park (12-20 River Road, Natrona Heights). The pantry is free, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Anyone who needs food may use it. Anyone who can contribute food may do so as well (see guidelines below).
The Building Block of Natrona promotes and supports the pantry. Posts are made on our Facebook page regularly. And, we use donations to our organization to regularly stock the pantry.
The pantry is located in the park near the concession stand building. It was installed alongside a fence that separates the basketball court from the grassy park space. A Google map shows the exact location below.
The pantry was built and donated to the community by Harrison Township residents Bob and Michele Plocki, who initially contacted the reached out to Allegheny Valley Association of Churches. The Association asked the Highlands Partnership Network to help with the project, which is where the Building Block of Natrona got involved. It is our pleasure to help support this wonderful community asset.
Harrison Commissioners approved installing the pantry in the park in October 2020 and Public Works employees placed it in the park.
This is a wonderful example of organizations and government working together. And, none of this would have been possible without the Plocki's.
